Walking tour of the museum with an explanation of the works, ideals, and ideas of members of the artists' colony, as well as the history of the four major art exhibitions between 1901 and 1914.
Public guided tour of the permanent collection presentation at the Museum Künstlerkolonie: As the central building of the 1901 exhibition, Joseph Maria Olbrich designed the Artists' Colony studio building at the highest point of the complex. The front side shows a broad building with clear forms and a richly ornamented, monumental portal. 

The former studio building is now used as the Museum Künstlerkolonie and displays works by the 23 members of the Darmstadt Artists' Colony.
