Learn the art of upholstery in Leipzig. Work on your own project, use special tools, and enjoy a welcome drink in a relaxed studio atmosphere.
Do you have an heirloom or a flea market find that desperately needs a makeover? In our upholstery workshop at "Feenhandwerk" in Leipzig, we will show you how it's done! Together with our experienced upholsterer Bernd, you will work directly on the piece of furniture you brought with you.
You will learn step by step how to remove old covers, prepare the base, and professionally re-upholster and cover your piece of furniture. The special part: Through the different projects of the participants, you will get to know different techniques and materials. We provide you with all the professional equipment – from wood sanders to electric staplers.
This workshop offers you the perfect mix of focused craftsmanship and creative exchange. As a welcome and for a short break in between, a high-quality specialty coffee or a glass of prosecco is already prepared for you. Start your upcycling project and take a piece of furniture home at the end that you can be proud of! And even more importantly: the knowledge of how to upholster more furniture!

Feel free to send a photo of your project in advance
If you 'undress' the piece of furniture at home beforehand, you will have more time in the workshop and can finish up to 4 chairs
Since we are a barefoot shop, you are welcome to bring slippers

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
