What will you experience at this attraction?
We'll start with a short theoretical introduction to riding a Segway, the "do's" and "don'ts." Then, with the help of our guides, you'll get on the Segway for the first time, ride your first few meters with a safety escort, and then practice diligently in a small square in Bremer Neustadt.
In our experience - and we've been doing this for a while - a proper briefing is really important: You can only really enjoy the tour if you're out and about with the self-confidence you've gained during your driving training. That's why we value solid training.
Once everyone can ride and brake safely, it's time to hit the road:
This is a fun tour, meaning our guides can tell you a little bit about the sights along the route, but it's definitely NOT a city tour!

The focus of this tour is, among other things, getting to know the Segway's unique steering concept on beautiful paths, mostly away from road traffic.
A Segway is moved almost exclusively by shifting your body's center of gravity; there is neither an "accelerator pedal" nor a "brake lever" - something completely different from a "moped" or bicycle, which makes it exciting.
We'll cruise through the greenery and master a few small "difficulties," like going up to bridges and narrow footpaths ;-)
We'll make a few short stops to give your feet a break anyway - if the participants want and if time permits, we can take a "sitting break" in a beer garden or ice cream parlor.
Our guide will definitely be happy if he's invited :-)
Depending on the number of participants, we'll accompany you with one or more experienced and attentive tour guides who will bring your group safely through the city...

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing – and for the ladies:
choose shoes that aren't too high.
Sunglasses or similar are recommended because of the wind.
If you expect the temperatures to be rather low, you might want to bring some light
gloves or even long underwear can be very useful!
If the weather is very summery and hot, bring a drink for the road.
A small "backpack" on the handlebars (volume: approx. 10 liters) for transporting
bags or items you bring with you is available on all Segways.
We ride in (almost) any weather:
If the safety of the tour can no longer be guaranteed due to, for example, thunderstorms, really heavy rain, storms, etc., we'll cancel it. If we cancel for this reason, you'll get a full refund.
The meeting point is in the parking lot at the railway overpass...

- Segway transport to/from the start/finish.
- Rental helmets on request (however, there is no legal helmet requirement; of course, you can bring your own helmets).
- All required tour guides (depending on the number of participants in your group and tour time, an experienced and attentive guide for about 5 to 7 guests).
- Liability insurance without deductible.

- Optional:
- Comprehensive insurance with a €250 deductible for an extra €5 per participant.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
