On our Segway tour in Hildesheim, we make a few loops in the city, ride far out over the Galgenberg and back along the Innerste river... A varied tour through the countryside!
What will you experience with this attraction?
We start with a short theoretical introduction to riding a Segway, the "dos" and "don'ts." Then, with the help of our guides, you will get on the Segway for the first time, take your first few meters under supervision, and then practice diligently in a small square in Bremen's Neustadt district.

In our experience – and we've been doing this for a while – proper instruction is really important: only when you feel confident from the training will you be able to really enjoy the tour. That's why we place great emphasis on thorough instruction.

Once all participants can ride and brake safely, the tour begins:
This is a fun tour, which means that our guides can tell you a little bit about the sights along the itinerary, but it is deliberately NOT a city tour!

The focus of this tour is on getting to know the unique steering concept of the Segways on beautiful paths, mostly away from traffic.

A Segway is moved almost exclusively by shifting your body weight; there is no "accelerator" or "brake lever" – it's completely different from a moped or bicycle, which makes it exciting.

We cruise relaxed through the countryside and master a few small "challenges," such as riding up bridges and narrow footpaths ;-)
We make a few short stops to rest our feet anyway – at the request of the participants and if time permits, we can take a "sit break" in a beer garden or ice cream parlor.
Our guide will certainly be delighted if he is invited :-)

Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather—and for the ladies:
please avoid wearing shoes that are too high.

Sunglasses or similar are recommended due to the wind generated by the Segway.

If low temperatures are expected, light gloves or even long underwear may be useful!

In very summery weather and strong heat, please bring a drink for the tour.

A small "backpack" on the handlebars (volume: approx. 10 liters) is available on all Segways for transporting bags or items you bring with you.

If the safety of the tour can no longer be guaranteed, e.g. due to thunderstorms, really heavy rain, storms, etc., we will cancel the tour.

  • Transport of the Segways to/from the start/finish.
  • Helmets on request (however, there is no legal requirement to wear a helmet, and you are welcome to bring your own).
  • All necessary tour guides (depending on the number of participants in your group and the tour duration, one experienced and attentive guide for approx. 5 to 7 guests).
  • Liability insurance without excess.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
