Description
A historical tour of the relics of the Reeperbahn. Visit rare finds scattered around St. Pauli with the makers of the Museum ohne Mauern.
This tour starts right at the entrance to the "hot mile": The Arcotel Onyx, together with the creators of the Museum without Walls, presents an unusual tour of the "relics of the Reeperbahn".
The organizers of this unique museum, which has exhibits spread throughout the district, will take you along the party mile of the present to rare, bizarre, and historic St. Pauli finds from the past. "Relics of the Reeperbahn" takes you to legendary places, hidden treasures, and fascinating memorabilia full of charm with a touch of nostalgia.
The tour kicks off in style with a (non-alcoholic) refreshment at the elegant Arcotel Onyx – right where the elegant "Trichter" amusement palace electrified the nightlife in the 1920s. Here you'll hear the first exciting stories about the beginnings of the Reeperbahn as a world-famous entertainment mile.
Next, we'll move on to neighborhood relics and other curiosities from the eventful history of St. Pauli: To the original sign of the long-gone, legendary "Kiez-Tanke," original memorabilia of the Beatles and Freddy Quinn, and Germany's most famous prostitute, Domenica.
We'll show you curiosities and memorabilia that tell the eventful story of St. Pauli.
The stylish finale takes place at the Erotic Art Museum. There you'll find the works of Erwin Ross, the "Rubens of the Reeperbahn," who also designed the famous entrance to the cult pub "Zur Ritze."
The tour is led by the creators of the new Museum ohne Mauern.
