Begin your tour by checking in at your hotel and having lunch before starting your visit to the magnificent rock-hewn churches of Lalibela.

Start with the Northern Cluster, including Bete Medhane Alem (House of the Redeemer), the largest of the Lalibela churches, featuring five aisles, 72 pillars, a vaulted dome, and beautiful architectural details.

Continue to Bete Mariam (House of St. Mary), one of the most beautifully decorated churches in Lalibela. Then, visit the most famous church of Lalibela, Bet Giyorgis (St. George). This magnificent monolithic church is carved entirely from a single piece of volcanic rock and is shaped like a cross.

Dedicated to St. George, the patron saint of Ethiopia, the church was carved from the inside out, including its doors, windows, pillars, and other architectural features. It is connected to the surrounding churches by a network of tunnels and pathways.

After lunch break, continue to the Southeastern Cluster of Lalibela's rock-hewn churches. Visit Bet Gabriel-Rufael, Bet Merkorios, Bet Amanuel, Bet Abba Libanos, and Bet Lehem (Bethlehem).

During the visit, you may also have the opportunity to observe a traditional church service, depending on the schedule. After completing the church tour, return to your hotel or the agreed drop-off point.
