Led by seasoned musher Aaron Peck, you’ll ride behind an energetic 14-dog team pulling a purpose-built cart along forest trails lit up with autumn leaves. Feel the power of the team, breathe in crisp northern air, and experience authentic mushing—no winter conditions required.

Your tour begins at the kennel with a warm welcome and an educational talk on Yukon dog sledding history and modern mushing life. After a safety briefing, you’ll meet your husky team and (if you’d like) help harness the dogs before setting off. On the trail, your musher guides the experience while you take in the wilderness scenery and pause for photos with the dogs and cart.

Back at base, you’ll help un-harness the team and settle in for stories, questions, and a relaxed wrap-up with light refreshments. With a maximum of five guests, this small-group format keeps the experience hands-on and personal—ideal for travelers who want meaningful time with the dogs as well as a thrilling ride through the Yukon in fall.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
