Description
Discover the BMF Museum in Nuremberg on a guided tour and experience industrial history up close. Immerse yourself in design, craftsmanship and everyday culture in a special atmosphere.
During your guided tour of the BMF Museum Nuremberg, you will discover the history of the former Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik in a special and personal way. We are currently offering three exclusive guided tours this year: July 5, July 5, September 6, and November 29, 2026. Together with a guide, you will immerse yourself in the world of industry, design, and everyday culture and learn more about the development of the traditional company and the people behind the story.
The museum is located in a listed building and provides an authentic setting for the guided tour. Historical objects, original exhibits, and the special architecture make the past of the BMF come to life in an impressive way. During the tour, you will gain fascinating insights into industrial production, artisanal processes, and social change over several decades.
The guided tour lasts around 45 to 60 minutes and combines historical background with vivid stories and details that often remain hidden during an individual visit. There is plenty of time to ask questions and explore individual topics in more depth.
Tickets including the guided tour and museum admission cost €15 for adults and €12 for children, students with ID, and senior guests. Appropriate proof must be presented during the visit.
The ticket includes both the guided tour and admission to the museum. After the tour, you can continue to explore the exhibition areas at your own pace and soak up the unique atmosphere of the building.
Whether you are interested in history, design, architecture or unusual places: The BMF Museum invites you to consciously experience Nuremberg's industrial history and get to know it from a new perspective.
