Description
Explore Nuremberg's Old Town on a lively walking tour. Discover fascinating places such as the Weißgerbergasse, the Old Town Hall and the Imperial Castle - history at your fingertips!
Experience Nuremberg's Old Town in 90 minutes - lively, historic and personal.
The tour starts centrally at the main train station, but I can also pick you up at your hotel if it's on the way. The regular meeting point is at Frauentor, right next to the historic city wall - an atmospheric introduction to Nuremberg's history.
Together we explore some of the city's most impressive places: from the medieval craftsmen's courtyard to the imposing St. Lawrence Church and the historic main market square with the Church of Our Lady and the famous Beautiful Fountain. From there we head to the medieval Lochgefängnisse and the venerable Sebalduskirche before climbing up to the Kaiserburg, which offers a unique view over the city.
On the way back, we visit the Albrecht Dürer House, walk through the picturesque Weißgerbergasse and over the Maxbrücke, past the flea market to the Henkersteg - a perfect end to this varied walking tour.
During the tour, you will learn exciting stories, historical background information and get personal tips for restaurants, cafés and hidden corners. Whether you are visiting Nuremberg for the first time or want to discover it for the first time - this guided tour will give you a lively and well-founded overview.
