Step into a large lavvo and embark on a magical journey through Sami storytelling, performed by Sami people in traditional dress, known as kofte. Experience the fascinating art form of joik, which conveys culture and tradition in a moving way.
Warm up in the atmospheric lavvo with campfire coffee and a selection of hot and cold drinks. Learn about the rich Sami history, culture, and traditions. It is a golden opportunity to meet the friendly reindeer and pet and feed them, as well as take photos together.
You will also be able to enjoy a warm and delicious reindeersoup.

The meeting point is in Skibotn, just outside the Lyngenfjord Hotel. Your guide will be waiting to welcome you, often dressed in traditional Sámi clothing, making them easy to recognize.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
