A Day In Accra
A Day in Accra Tour has been arranged to give travelers a local experience that would connect them to Ghanaian culture and people. It would educate travelers on the lives of important people like Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and W.E.B Dubois. There would also be a visit to the Black Star Square and climaxed with the shopping experience at the Ghanaian Arts and craft market.

Kwame Nkrumah Museum
Guests would visit the Kwame Nkrumah Museum/Memorial park. It is the final resting place of the first president of Ghana, who liberated Gold Coast from Colonial rule. The museum houses the personal effects and publications of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah at various stages of his life and some pictures showing his life history with some famous personalities across the world. The premise was where Kwame Nkrumah stood to declare Ghana independent.

W.E.B Dubois Centre
The tour includes a visit to the W.E.B Dubois Centre, named after William Edward Burgardt Dubois, an African civil rights activist who was known as the father of Pan Africanism. He once lived at the centre with his wife. The centre houses his personal library, museum, mausoleum where he and his wife were buried and is a research centre for Pan African history and culture.

Arts and Craft Market
The Arts and Craft Market is a community of stalls where crafts and souvenirs inspired by the Ghanaian culture like kente cloths, beads, carvings and many other accessories are exhibited for purchase. Guests get the opportunity to move from stall to stall to appreciate and purchase some memento as memories from their visit to Ghana. Vendors are also always at the service of guests and are willing to persuade in their bid to convince guests to consider their wares since there are similar items available at the same venue by various sellers as well.

Black Star Square
Guests would visit the Independence Square also known as the Black Star Square. It is a vast expanse overlooked by stands that can seat about 30,000 people. It was built by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to commemorate Ghana’s independence as a symbol of national unity and self-reliance and commissioned during the visit of Queen Elizabeth II to Ghana in 1961. The Square hosts major national and commercial events within the country. It has features like the Independence Arc, the Flame of Liberation and the Black Star Monument.
