Day 1- Accra
Arrival
A guide will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2 - Aburi
Morning Activities
Guests will change their currency for cedi and a meeting would be arranged with a tailor on request.

Aburi Botanical Gardens
This is a protected area developed in 1890 as a garden with various plant species from different parts of the world.

Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm
This is the first cocoa farm in Ghana planted by Tetteh Quarshie in 1870 with 2 original trees still remaining.

Day 3 - Akosombo
Cedi Bead Factory
This is where beads are made from broken bottles, melted in hot ovens, transformed into recycled and antique beads, polished and uniquely designed.

Boat Ride on Lake Volta
This ride gives a chance to see the Adomi bridge built in 1957 over the Volta Lake.

Day 4 - Cape Coast
Assin Manso Slave River
This is the sacred site where slaves were taken to, to have their last bath before the castle and then shipping. The site is significant in the celebration the PANAFEST and Emancipation Day.

Cape Coast Castle
This was built by the Europeans in 1652 to keep slaves taken through the door of no return. It is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the history of slavery is kept authentic and told from the African perspective.

Day 5 - Cape Coast
Kakum National Park
The canopy walkway at the park, was built by 2 Canadians and 6 Ghanaians in 1994, used in 1995. The walkway is from 11 to about 40 meters high with a distance of about 350 meters.

Elmina Castle
This was built by the Portuguese in 1482 as a trade settlement, and then became one of the most important stops on the route of slavery, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site.

Day 6 - Accra
Shopping For souvenirs
Shopping for souvenirs can done either from the Makola Market or the Osu Oxford Street.

Nightlife
Guests would visit any hangout for some live band music with good food and drink.

Day 7 - Accra
Meet with Tailor to Pick Up Clothes

Kwame Nkrumah Museum
This is the final burial place of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, where he stood to declare Ghana independent on 6th March, 1957. It houses his personal effects, publications, and some awards earned.

Arts and Craft Market
This market is where crafts and souvenirs inspired by the Ghanaian culture like kente cloths, beads, carvings and other accessories are on display.

Black Star Square
In 1961, the black star square was commissioned by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. There is the independence arc, the black star gate and the monument of Liberation.

Day 8 - Accra
Departure
You will have time for some last minute preparations, packing, hotel checkout, before checking in at the airport.
