In the first part we will visit the Acropolis, dedicated to the goddess Athena, patron saint of the city. This activity is the essence and wonder of the monuments of Classical Greece.

Our Athens: Guided Walking Tour of the Acropolis will start from the south-east side, avoiding the main entrance which is always more crowded. Our official tour guide will explain to us the most interesting legends of the archaeological site as we visit all the temples and monuments of the site. See the temple of the Parthenon and the Propylaea, a monumental gateway to the Acropolis.

Learn about the long history of the capital of modern Greece. Visit the Theatre of Dionysus, which seats 17,000 spectators and was used to host festivals in honour of the birth of the Greek god.

Be impressed by the Erechtheion, named after the demigod Erechtheus and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Enjoy your guide's commentary on the ancient Greek myths behind the ruins.

Take a look at the stone carvings of the Caryatids and the Temple of Athena Nike, the smallest temple. After your tour, have free time to stay longer and explore the exceptional site at your own pace.

The second part will be our night city tour of Athens will start at the National Library of Greece, one of the three elements that make up the majestic trilogy of neoclassical buildings, then we will visit the University and the Academy of Athens. Our next stop will be Syntagma Square, where we will stop at the Greek Parliament to see the so known presidential guard.

Continuing our tour, we will see a hidden gem among the National Gardens, the ancient Olympic Village of Zappeion, we will see the first Olympic stadium in modern history, the Panathinaiko Stadium. After visiting the stadium, we will take a trip back in time, as our next stop will be Hadrian's Arch and the Temple of Zeus. We will then head to the great Metropolitan Cathedral and the Little Mitropolis. Immediately after, we will arrive at the vibrant Monastiraki Square to end in the Greek Agora with impressive views of the Acropolis.

All visitors must buy their tickets for Acropolis site before the activity starts. Regular tickets can be purchased online but all free or discounted tickets can only be purchased in person at the ticket office. Even if you benefit from free admission, it is necessary to have the physical ticket that is only given at the ticket office.

We recommend being in the ticket office area of the south entrance around 16:30 a.m. Once the tickets are given to you, you must go to the meeting point, which is less than a 2-minute walk from the ticket office.
