Starting from your hotel or apartment you will embark in a journey back in time covering all the important Athenian sights throughout history. First you will get to visit the Acropolis, the cradle of western civilization as we know it today and a magnificent view point with all of Athens laying at your feet. Moving on to the modern and well designed Acropolis museum you will get the chance to admire all the artifacts displayed and of course the world famous Karyatides, although they're one short unfortunately. Time for lunch break and there is no better option than a pitta stuffed with gyros and tzatziki along side a cold local beer or soda. Halfway through our tour and we still have a lot to cover, starting from the Old Olympic stadium, officially known as Kallimarmaron, greek for "beautiful marbles". Know we climb up the highest point of Athens, the Lycabettus hill for breathtaking views before we go back to Syntagma square to see the changing of the presidential guards in front on the Parliament house and more specifically the Tomb of the Unknown soldier. And with a little bit of driving around the more modern neighborhoods of the city our tour will be completed again back at your hotel with you being delighted and wiser by everything you visited in this city blessed with such vast history and culture.
