The Journey
We set sail for Dia Island, an uninhabited gem located 7 nautical miles north of Heraklion. Protected by the Natura 2000 project, Dia boasts rich biodiversity and fascinating myths. The journey to the island lasts about an hour, offering tranquility, captivating sea views, and a chance to learn about eco-sailing and marine life. For those interested, our skilled skipper can guide you in sailing activities.

Upon arrival at Dia, we anchor at pristine wind protected coves where you can enjoy marine activities with provided equipment, including snorkeling gear, stand-up paddleboards (SUP), and more. Alternatively you can stay onboard and enjoy all the amenities that it has to offer. Suntan on the massive front deck, or enjoy the fragrant white wine.

For the day cruise, we depart for the island of Dia at 09:00 and return to Heraklion at 15:00. For the sunset cruise, we depart for the island of Dia at 15:00 and return at 21:00.
We offer transportation services upon request, by prior arrangement, and with an additional charge.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
When making a reservation, please provide the full name, date of birth, passport or ID number, and nationality of each passenger. This information is required by the port authorities for the approval of the cruise.
The cruise is subject to weather conditions and may be postponed or canceled in case of unfavorable weather. In such cases, a full refund of the ticket price will be provided."
The meeting point is at the Marina Cafe, at the Old Port of Heraklion. There is a big sign that reads "Daily Cruises to Dia Island". Please search on google maps "Rocca a Mare Sailing Adventures Meeting Point" and follow the instructions!

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
