Country: Greece

Duration: 05:00 hours

Description

Explore the ancient city of Corinth and see the Isthmus canal where the two seas, Aegean and Ionian meet.
The tour starts from a central point in Athens (or from your hotel upon agreement) where the bus will pick you up along with the licensed tour guide who will accompany you and explain the historical events of the tour (optional). We head 1 hour away from Athens towards the southern part of Greece meeting the Isthmus of Corinth where there is a stop for photos and a short tour.

We now continue to the prefecture of Corinthia within the Peloponnese and to the Ancient city of Corinth, where a visit is made to the archaeological site located at the northern foothills of the Acrocorinthos hill, around the archaic Temple of Apollo.

Upon completion of the visit to the archaeological site, a guided tour of the museum of ancient Corinth follows, which was built in 1932 to house the numerous objects brought to light by the archaeological dig.

At the end of our tour we head back to Athens to finish the excursion at the starting point.
