If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) and Bubblemaker (BM) programs are for you. We invite you to dive in the most beautiful location at Rhodes island and in one of the most beautiful sites in Greece. Explore the amazing Charaki (or Haraki) and Agathi bay underwater and get a unique lifetime experience. Enjoy the superb visibility and excellent weather and diving conditions. Greece Awarded One of the Best Diving Destinations for Beginners in 2026. Anyone who is older than 10 years old and do not have any scuba diving diploma can enroll in DSD. Before you get in the water, you'll spend 20-30 minutes learning dive safety fundamentals. Study independently on a computer or mobile device with PADI eLearning®, or read the PADI® Discover Scuba Diving Participant Guide. Next, a PADI Divemaster or Instructor will provide scuba gear and explain how to use it. They will answer any questions you may have about scuba diving and scuba certification and help you practice basic scuba diving skills in a pool or calm water environment and explore an underwater reef, in a maximum depth of 6 meters/20 feet (max depth 2m for Bubblemaker program). Your Discover Scuba Diving experience will conclude with free time in a guided open water dive. Ready to dive in?

What you get:
When you participate in a Discover Scuba Diving program, you experience excitement, freedom and serenity of being underwater. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!
In addition, you will be register in PADI system for a 2 weeks period, further to which you may continue with Scuba Diver or Open Water Course. In this case, your registration shall count as credit for the practical part of your course.

Charaki (also spelled Haraki) is a tranquil fishing village located on the east coast of Rhodes, approximately 37 km south of Rhodes Town and 14 km north of Lindos. It's a popular destination for visitors seeking a peaceful atmosphere, with its charming bay, traditional tavernas, and the medieval Feraklos Castle overlooking the area. Come find us at the main beach in Charaki, Rhodes – we’ll be waiting.
Our dive base is located right in front of Charaki (or Haraki) beach, between Salty Restaurant & Style Cafe bar, with our boat just 20 meters away. No need for car transfers or extra hassle – your adventure starts right here.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
