The focus of this tour is on giving you the time to explore the landscape through your lens, visiting various locations in Iceland's highlands to give you diverse range of stunning photo opportunities.

To start thee Super Jeep Photography tour, you'll head toward the legendary Hekla volcano or, the Gateway to Hell, as it is sometimes called. From there, continue onward through Dómadalur valley, which leads to Frostastaðavatn and Ljótipollur, lakes. Only a few minutes away is one of the most picturesque stops, Landmannalaugar. This area is one of Iceland’s secret gems with its colorful rhyolite mountains and its geothermal bathing pool bordered by steep black lava fields.

After a substantial stop jump back into your super jeep and head to the famous Laugavegur trail. Drive down Reykjadalir valley with its interesting geothermal area. From here you'll see the Mýrdalsjökull and Eyjafjallajökull glaciers emerge. That's a stunning view that you don't want to miss! As you get closer to Road 1 you'll see yet another change in the landscape, as big ice caps come into view as you arrive at Emstrur hut. These magnificent ice sheets offer the perfect panorama.

Hopefully as the journey draws to an end you will still have some space left on your memory cards to take your final pictures of Eyjafjallajökull and Þórsmörk valley as seen from the west side of Markarfljótsgljúfur.
