Day 1: Classic Mussoorie – Mall Road, Waterfalls & Views

Start your day with breakfast at Cafe By The Way or Chick Chocolate on Mall Road. Enjoy coffee, pancakes, or parathas.

Next, head to Kempty Falls, a famous cascading waterfall 13 km from town. Take a cab or drive (30–40 mins). You can use a ropeway to descend or walk down. Avoid shopping near the falls — it's touristy and overpriced.

Return to Mussoorie for lunch. Try Urban Turban, Kalsang (Tibetan-Chinese), or Clock Tower Café.

In the afternoon, take a small ropeway ride to Gun Hill Point, a scenic viewpoint offering panoramic views of the Doon Valley and Himalayas.

Then, enjoy a peaceful 3-km walk along Camel’s Back Road, a path shaped like a camel’s back. It’s perfect for nature photos and sunset views.

End your day with shopping on Mall Road. Buy local handicrafts, woolens, wooden items, or books. Try softy ice creams or momos from street vendors.

For dinner, choose from Lovely Omelette Centre, The Tavern, or Landour Bakehouse (if you're up for a short drive).

Day 2: Landour, Nature & Peaceful Mussoorie

Begin with breakfast at Landour Bakehouse, a historic British-style bakery with beautiful valley views. Try cinnamon rolls, sourdough, and coffee.

Next, explore Landour on foot. Visit Sisters Bazaar (quaint shopping), Char Dukan (famous 4 cafés), St. Paul’s Church, and Lal Tibba Viewpoint – the highest point in Mussoorie with telescopes. Enjoy the quiet, pine-scented roads, colonial homes, and slow travel.

Have lunch in Landour at Emily’s at Rokeby Manor or Ivy Café.

In the afternoon, visit Company Garden (optional), a botanical garden with flower beds, boating, and a small amusement area. It’s best for families with kids.

On your way out of town, stop at Mussoorie Lake for paddle boating and quick snacks. This stop is optional and can be skipped if you're short on time.

Wrap up your trip and depart for Dehradun, returning by 7:30–8:00 PM. This is ideal for those catching trains or flights from Dehradun or Delhi.
