06:30 AM - Departure from Delhi
Start early from Delhi to maximize your day in Agra. You can either travel by car (about 3-4 hours) or take the Gatimaan Express train from Delhi to Agra, which is faster, taking around 1.5 hours.

09:30 AM - Arrive in Agra
Upon arrival, your guide or driver will pick you up at the station or meeting point and proceed with the tour.

1st Stop: Taj Mahal (9:45 AM - 11:45 AM)
Begin with the breathtaking Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is renowned for its stunning white marble architecture and romantic backstory.
Spend time exploring the gardens, admiring the intricate marble inlay work, and capturing photos from different vantage points.

2nd Stop: Agra Fort (12:15 PM - 1:30 PM)
Next, visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This massive red sandstone fort was the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Explore its various palaces, courtyards, and halls, including the Jahangir Palace, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, and Musamman Burj, where Shah Jahan was imprisoned.
The fort also offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal from a distance.

Lunch Break (1:30 PM - 2:30 PM)

3rd Stop: Itmad-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) (2:45 PM - 3:45 PM)
After lunch, head to the Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, popularly known as the Baby Taj. This exquisite mausoleum was built by Nur Jahan for her father and is considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal. The intricate latticework and detailed marble inlays are worth admiring.

Free Time for Shopping or Leisure (Optional) (3:45 PM - 4:30 PM)
If time permits, you can explore Agra’s local markets, known for their handicrafts, marble inlay work, and carpets. Or, visit the Mehtab Bagh across the Yamuna River for another view of the Taj Mahal.

5:00 PM - Return to Delhi
Begin your return journey to Delhi via car or catch your train back (if traveling by Gatimaan Express).

8:00 PM - Arrive in Delhi
You’ll be back in Delhi by early evening, marking the end of your day trip.
