Dharavi is the largest slum in Asia with over 1 million people, we do an educational walk around the area to understand how everday life is and discuss social issues faced by community.
We meet at the entrance of Burger King which is opposite to Churchgate train station.After getting the tickets we will take the train for about 40 mins. We begin with visiting the working district of Dharavi to see and discuss how locals are engaged in different professions. Then we head to the residential area here , we discuss and understand about how everyday life is and social issues faced by the community. We finish our walk in one of most unique neighborhoods of Dharavi Khumbharwada. Our guides are local from Dharavi and they know the area very well.
