Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or cruise terminal in Mumbai. Head to the Gateway of India, Mumbai’s iconic landmark, and enjoy a scenic ferry ride to Elephanta Island. Climb over 100 steps to reach the Elephanta Caves entrance and embark on a guided tour of the rock-cut temples and sculptures, including Kalyansundara, Gangadhara, and Ardhanarishwara.
Return to Mumbai and continue your city tour, passing by the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Dhobi Ghat, Victoria Terminus (CST), Marine Drive, Nariman Point, Chowpatty Beach, and Mani Bhavan.
The next morning, set off early for a scenic drive along the Konkan coast to Ratnagiri. Stop for photos and local snacks along the way. Arrive in Ratnagiri by the afternoon and check into a local village homestay. Spend the afternoon exploring the village, nearby beaches, or forts. Enjoy a traditional dinner with a local family and spend the night in the village.
The following day, wake up early for a sunrise walk on a nearby beach or a visit to a fort. Have breakfast at the homestay before departing for Goa via a scenic coastal road.
In Goa, explore the Basilica of Bom Jesus (a UNESCO site), Se Cathedral, and the Latin Quarter (Fontainhas) with its colorful streets, heritage homes, and art galleries. Visit a spice plantation and enjoy a traditional Goan lunch. Finally, browse local markets for spices and sweets before being dropped off at your hotel or cruise terminal in Goa.
