Day 1: Arrival and Evening Aarti
Upon arrival at Varanasi Airport or Railway Station, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel. In the evening, head to the bank of the River Ganga to witness the world-famous Ganga Aarti. Before the Aarti, enjoy a boat ride, visiting important and historical ghats. Finally, reach Dashashwamedh Ghat to watch the Ganga Aarti from the boat. After the Aarti, stroll through the streets, enjoy tasty street food, and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning Boat Ride, Temple Tour, and Silk Weaving Tour
Early in the morning, take a boat ride on the Ganges. Experience the mystical and spiritual Subah-e-Banaras, watching people take holy dips, perform rituals, and offer water to the Sun. Visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via boat. After the boat ride, take a walking tour in the old part of the city, visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Annapurna Temple. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
In the afternoon, embark on a temple tour, visiting the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Sankat Mochan (Hanuman Temple), Tulsi Manas Mandir, and New Vishwanath Temple (Birla Temple) located in Banaras Hindu University. In the evening, visit the Varanasi Silk Market, famous for Banarasi weaving style. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Sarnath Tour and Ramnagar Fort Visit
After breakfast, take an excursion to Sarnath, where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore the Buddha temples, Dhamekha Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, ruins of monasteries including Mulagandha Kuti, remains of the Ashokan Pillar, an 80-foot tall Buddha Idol, and the archaeological museum.
Later, visit Ramnagar Fort, the palace of the Maharaja of Benares, situated on the other side of the river. The palace is still the residence of the royal family of Varanasi. Ramnagar is famous as the birthplace of Mr. Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second prime minister of India. The Ramlila, a yearly dramatic folk re-enactment of the life of Lord Ram, organized in Ramnagar, is a world-famous event for its unique and traditional concept and style. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy leisure time in the morning. Later, transfer to the airport or railway station with pleasant memories of your holy trip.
