The Latin Quarter Heritage Walk in Fontainhas starts at General Post Office , Panjim. The spot is next to the bust of Miguel Caitan Dais, in a square known as ' Tobacco Square'. After initial introduction and stories ( and some goodies ), we head into the colorful streets of Fontainhas to understand the life there. We pass by the Sao Tome Chapel, the altars, famous bars and local eateries with stories about each of them. We marvel at the colorful houses of the area and understand the reason behind this. Post this, we visit one of the oldest bakeries of the area ( Almost 100 Years Old ) to try some local Goan delicacies.
