Varanasi or Kashi has been the dwelling of many different great personalities. This walk takes you to some of those places where either those people were born, lived and accomplished their notable works.
We commence this walk from the Assi-ghat and slowly move to the birth place of a great warrior queen who fought against the British East India Company and martyred only at the age of 23. After that, we visit a traditional mud-wrestling ground founded by a great Saint & poet Tulsidas in 16th century. After that, we feel wondered to visit a very sacred step-well which heals the impotency of childless couples. Later on, we visit a water pumping station from the British period and the largest widow-ashram, a Jain temple, remain of an old palace, a south Indian temple and we end up at the Harishchandra-ghat which is a crematorium.
