Description
Excursion by bus or cable car towards 3000 meters with easy trekking, you will have the opportunity to walk on the base of the summit craters and then visit the famous Alcantara Gorges.
To conquer the top of the largest active volcano in Europe, starting from a height difference of 1800 m. we will reach an altitude of 3000 m, with the help of tourist vehicles (cable car and/or 4x4 bus). You will observe a volcanic landscape of considerable interest and visit the lateral craters and a lava flow cave.
Furthermore, you can admire the very ancient basalt colonnades of the Alcantara Gorges. You will walk among woods, volcanic cones, lava flows and inside the Alcantara river. All punctually enriched by explanations in Italian, English and French from our certified guides.
The excursion is offered with a "pick-up" service directly from your hotel or with a "meeting point" to be agreed.
