Although Papal audience tickets are free, organizing it all yourself can take precious time out of your trip to Rome. Receive your invitation for papal audience from the staff at piazza del Sant'Uffizio, just in front St Peter's Square. A great place to watch the Pope make his way to the stage and join the weekly gathering which includes prayers, blessings and a homily.
After the audience, you'll have a guided tour of the iconic Basilica of St. Peter. As you tour the Renaissance-style church, with its famous dome (added by Michelangelo) and unrivalled architecture that Raphael also played a part in, you'll see masterpieces like Michelangelo's Pietà and Bernini's Baldacchino .

• Dress code: shoulders and knees have to be covered.

You will receive a mandatory temperature check
All participants who are 12 years and older must present a Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Valid Green Passes can be obtained by uploading either proof of vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months, a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the activity starts, or a negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts to the Green Pass or Covid Certificate apps
Show your voucher to the Touristation staff carrying an orange umbrella next to the security check entrance in Piazza del Sant'Uffizio. You'll receive your invitation to the Papal Audience
After the audience, meet your guide at the end of the left colonnade of St. Peter's Square, near the metal detectors, at the intersection of via Paolo VI and Piazza del Sant'Uffizio
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
