Note that the passage between the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter's Basilica is currently closed due to Covid-19 physical distancing measures. To enter the church, your tour will therefore need to go around the Vatican State walls.
Your guide will do their best to include a tour of the basilica, but this may not always be possible due to the distance between the sites. If it's not possible, your guide will you a complete orientation of the basilica before your visit.

• Occasionally the Basilica may be closed due to last minute private events outside of the tour operators control and often without notice. In these uncommon circumstances the tour will operate as usual and the time spent inside the basilica will be enjoyed by an extended tour in an alternative area.
• Talking during your visit inside the Sistine Chapel is strictly forbidden
• Starting in 2024, the Vatican Museums will discontinue early access for all tour providers, instead opening to the public at 8AM. This tour will then be offered as a first entrance experience, which we recommend for a less crowded, more personalized, and fully guided experience.
Meeting point: In front of Cafè Vaticano, on Viale Vaticano 100, across the street from the museum entrance. Your guide will be holding a "LivTours" sign.
