Meet your guide, who is an art historian, in St. Peter's Square and stroll across the piazza into the Vatican City. You climb begins, there are 551 steep steps in total, which is a bit more than most wish to tackle on foot. Take the elevator part of the way up and just 171 steps remain. Climb at a leisurely pace and enjoy the journey with frequent stops.
At the summit, you will witness the breathtaking 360° views of the Vatican City as it extends out into Rome and its seven hills. At this point, take as many photographs as you can because you are very high up and this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

You are required to bring and wear a mask
All participants who are 12 years and older must present a Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Valid Green Passes can be obtained by uploading either proof of vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months, a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the activity starts, or a negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts to the Green Pass or Covid Certificate apps
All participants must also bring a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g. passport, driver's license, etc)
Meet at 7:45 AM for a prompt 8 AM departure by the Tiare Fountain, Fontana delle Tiare, Largo del Colonnato, 00120 Roma RM.
Your guide will be holding a sign with the local supplier's name on.
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
