After meeting your guide under the Clock Tower in St. Mark’s Square, start your tour with a visit to one of the most breath-taking buildings of Venice: the Doge’s Palace, the residence of the Doge and seat of local magistrates until the fall of the Serenissima, the Venetian Republic.

Admire up-close the palace’s many extraordinary masterpieces like the Giants’ and the Golden Staircases and “The Paradise” canvas by the famous painter Jacopo Tintoretto. You will also cross the Bridge of Sighs and tour the New Prisons where, during the Serenissima, criminals were detained.
