Experience the 74th Oyama Fireworks Festival on a one-day autumn trip from Tokyo on October 3, 2026. Meet at 13:20 at Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit (meet-and-board package). Hotel pickup package: 13:00–14:00 from hotels in Taito, Chuo, Chiyoda, and Shinjuku wards; pickup order is arranged by the driver-guide based on distance and traffic. Please arrive 10 minutes early, as latecomers cannot be waited for.

Travel to Oyama, Tochigi Prefecture, and arrive around 15:20 at the 74th Oyama Fireworks Festival, themed “Autumn Festival Coloring the Local Night Sky.” Set along the Sogawa River near Kanko Bridge, this beloved event has been held for over 70 years. Around 20,000 fireworks, including large round shells, rise over the river from 18:00. The open riverbank offers natural viewing spots, and when the fireworks bloom, their colors reflect on the calm water, creating a beautiful mirror-like scene. There is no eve festival and no extra programming—just pure fireworks. Enjoy the soft autumn festival atmosphere, food stalls, and the quiet charm of this small city.

Viewing tips: bring insect repellent, as the riverside has many insects. The ground may be damp, so bring a small cushion or picnic mat. Food stalls are available, so carry cash. Please take all trash with you. The vehicle will park near the venue; the exact parking location is not fixed and depends on conditions that day.

After the fireworks, depart at around 20:10 and return to Tokyo, arriving around 22:00 (about 2 hours by car). Times may adjust due to weather, traffic, or crowds.
