Begin your kintsugi experience by choosing a piece of Kutani ware, a traditional ceramic with a history of about 370 years. Select a piece that was broken during the Noto Peninsula earthquake, and pick your favorite color, pattern, and shape.

Learn how to create your own unique kintsugi accessory, such as a necklace, earrings, or a pendant. Discover the art of kintsugi, which is about more than just repairing broken items; it’s about giving new life to something that was once damaged.

The workshop is conducted in a quiet house near Kenrokuen and Higashi Chaya District.
The experience lasts approximately 2 hours.
Participants will create unique accessories using broken Kutani ware pieces.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
