After arriving, you will be welcomed into the historic townhouse and introduced to the samurai armor experience. Choose your favorite armor from the available designs, and our staff will help you carefully dress in the full armor.

Once you are dressed, step into the atmosphere of a samurai as you explore the traditional rooms, engawa veranda, and Japanese garden. Our staff will guide you through poses and help you enjoy the experience, so no previous experience is needed.

A professional photographer will then photograph you in different locations around the machiya, capturing both traditional portraits and memorable moments of your samurai experience. You will also have time to take photos with your own smartphone or camera.

After the experience, your professionally photographed images will be prepared and delivered to you online, giving you a lasting memory of your time in Kanazawa.
