Just across the street, you can already see the impressive stone walls and moat of Nijo Castle, our first stop. This station is easy to reach and gives us plenty of space to gather comfortably as a group. From here, we’ll step right into Kyoto’s history with the castle of the Tokugawa shoguns before continuing on to the Imperial Palace, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and ending with a taste of traditional sweets in Higashiyama. Let’s get started!”
