Experience the historic Ninna-ji Temple in Kyoto. Famous for its late-blooming Omuro sakura cherry trees and a five-story pagoda, Ninna-ji was founded in 888 AD. It is the main temple of the Omuro school of the Shingon sect of Buddhism, and it houses countless national treasures and cultural artifacts.

• The ticket booths close 30 minutes before the temple closes
• Opening hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM from March to November, and from 9 AM to 4.30 PM from December to February
• Cherry blossom season admission: 8 AM to 5 PM
• During the cherry blossom season, there is an admission fee required to enter the area after the Chumon inner gate to view the beautiful Omuro Sakura cherry blossoms
• The admission fees collected will be used for the preservation of the Omuro Sakura
• The period when the fee is required may vary depending on when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom
