Description

Spend a day in Hida: morning snow play at Bokka-no-Sato, then wander the historic gassho houses as they glow at dusk. Family-friendly, winter-only tour.
Discover two contrasting winter moods of Hida in a single day. Begin with relaxed, family-oriented snow play at Bokka-no-Sato — ideal for kids and first-timers to enjoy sledding and light snow activities. After lunch we head to Hida Folk Village, a beautifully preserved open-air museum showcasing gassho-zukuri farmhouses. During the winter illumination period these steep-thatched roofs are lit at dusk, turning the village into a memorable photo scene. This shared coach tour departs from Nagoya, includes entrance to both venues, and runs only during the winter season (Dec 20, 2025 — Feb 28, 2026).
