Come and enter a traditioal temple in Nagoya, Japan. Let's reate your own Kakejiku (hanging scroll) with calligraphy. Writing buddism words and your signature in Kanji. Matcha in peaceful atomosphere.
You can experience Japanese culture and Buddhist traditions at a temple with over 700 years of history in Nagoya, Aichi.
First, take off your shoes and enter the hall, you will chant sutras in front of the Buddha. Don’t worry—our guide will carefully teach you the proper way.
Next, you will experience Japanese calligraphy in a traditional Japanese-style room next by the hall. After designing your work with a stamp related to Buddhism, you will turn it into a hanging scroll. You can take your completed piece home as a souvenir.
Finally, relax and enjoy sweets and a cup of matcha while admiring the beauty of a Japanese garden.
For each experience, you can choose to sit on the floor or on a chair.

The experience plan does not include the cost of the kakejiku (Hanging scroll) itself. If you wish to purchase a kakejiku, you will need to buy it on-site (approximately 6,000 yen each). Payment on-site can be made by cash or credit card.

In a temple, there is a red gate. The guide who is wearing kimono(japanese traditional cloth) is waiting by the gate.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
