Meet your guide at the Horyu-ji i Center in front of the Horyu-ji Sando bus stop. Admire the world's oldest wooden building, a World Heritage Site, as you explore the temple with your guide.
Move to the location of the kanji experience after your temple tour. Use a brush pen to write your name in kanji. This is a new form of calligraphy in which you can freely enjoy writing brush characters with a single brush pen.
After your kanji experience, make your way to a special lunch at a historic building. Enjoy a special lunch of Tatsuta-age, a local chicken dish.

9:30 Meet up with your guide at the "Horyu-ji Sando" bus stop in front of the Horyu-ji i-Centre.
↓ Guided Tour of Horyu-ji Temple
11:30 After visiting the temple, move to the Kanji experience facility.
↓ Kanji experience: brush practice, making a work of art
12:30 Finish *No guide after that, move to the lunch place on your own (10 mins walk).

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
