All of our products provide private experiences, so you can take photos anytime and make adjustments toward the satisfaction of your experience. (e.g. I want you to proceed slowly to match my child's pace accordingly. I want to write a letter to someone special by Japanese calligraphy.) We will provide a special time for each group. If you have some special requests, please contact or reach us through request form or our email. The experience will be carefully guided by a friendly instructor. This is a completely private experience, so we will closely assess all our participants.
Typical schedule (This schedule can be arranged according to your request.)
■In the calligraphy lesson, first, kindly select the "theme" you would want to write today. Please tell me your favorite letters and words. We can also suggest the best Kanji to express yourself. After that, we will give you a detailed lecture about basic practices to be applied. Finally, please choose your favorite piece of colored paper from the various types and print it out. To finish, write your name in Japanese characters, stamp your initials, and you're done! Children 4-5 years old can try water calligraphy, which uses water instead of ink, for free. (Kindly draw freely!)
Our culture center is located in Namba, the center of tourism in Osaka, so you can easily reach here from Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street!

1 child aged 4 to 5 (participation fee free) can be booked per adult. (In order to secure space in the place, please include children aged 4 to 5 in the number of people making a reservation.)

We will wait for your arrival outside the building, in front of the main entrance, 5 minutes before your scheduled booking time. You will notice us right away because we are wearing kimonos.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
