Hitachi Seaside Park Nemophila Blue Harmony & Ashikaga Flower Park Illuminating Great Wisteria Night View!
[Hitachi Seaside Park: Nemophila Blue Eyes]
Experience the dreamlike spring scenery of Hitachi Seaside Park, world-renowned for its breathtaking Nemophila "Blue Harmony." Approximately 4.5 million tiny blue flowers blanket the entire hillside, creating a stunning vista that blends seamlessly with the sky. Enjoy this magnificent view as the refreshing spring breeze sweeps across the hill. In addition to the Nemophila, the park also boasts 270,000 tulips and 1 million daffodils in full, vibrant bloom!
[Ashikaga Flower Park: Great Wisteria]
The wisteria of Ashikaga Flower Park is a quintessential spring highlight, particularly recommended during the magical transition from dusk to night. The centerpiece is the "Great Wisteria" (a 150-year-old tree designated as a Natural Monument by Tochigi Prefecture) and a spectacular 80-meter tunnel of yellow wisterias. Under the evening illuminations, these blooms transform into a mystical wonderland. You can also admire white wisterias, pale red wisterias, and over 5,000 azaleas, creating a colorful welcome for every visitor.
[Hitachi Seafood Center or Hitachi-Minami Drive-in]
Experience the pride of Ibaraki’s coastal bounty at either the "Hitachi Seafood Center" or the "Hitachi-Minami Drive-in." (Note: Specific location cannot be selected.)
Hitachi Seafood Center: A direct-sale facility operated by the Kuji Town Fishery Cooperative. By connecting directly with local fishermen, this market offers the unique charm of purchasing rare varieties of fish—seldom found in larger markets—at very reasonable prices.
Hitachi-Minami Drive-in: Offers a wide variety of fresh seafood sourced directly from various fishing ports across Ibaraki Prefecture.
Important Note: Depending on the day's traffic and congestion, if the arrival at Hitachi Seaside Park is expected to be after 1:00 PM, the shopping stop may be cancelled to prioritize sightseeing time. We appreciate your understanding in advance.
