You can learn about and experience the entire gold leaf pasting process in a day.

【What is gold leaf pasting?】
This is an experience where you can apply gold leaf from Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, to your choice of tableware or chopsticks.
You will get to feel the thrill and excitement of working with Kanazawa’s gold leaf, which is as thin as 1/10,000 to 1/2,000 millimeters.

【Schedule for the Day】
1. Select the piece you want to work on.
2. Attach masking tape to create your design using stencils (masking tape).
3. Coat the selected areas with a special adhesive.
4. Let it dry for a few minutes. The instructor will share insights about gold leaf and its history.
5. Carefully place the gold leaf onto the adhesive.
6. Tap the surface gently with a brush to secure the gold leaf.
Peel off all the masking tape.
7. Your unique artwork is complete! It will be packaged in a box and handed to you to take home.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
