Please arrive at your meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure. Late arrivals will not be accommodated.

Travel time is approximately 4–6 hours and may be extended due to traffic conditions. Rest stop locations and timing will be decided on the day.

As food stalls at the festival are usually very crowded, we recommend purchasing drinks, light snacks, tissues, and wet wipes during highway service area stops.

The Nagaoka Fireworks Festival is one of Japan’s largest and most iconic fireworks events, held annually along the Shinano River in Nagaoka City. Famous for its emotional meaning of recovery, remembrance, and peace, highlights include:

* **Phoenix Fireworks**: A spectacular 2 km-wide synchronized fireworks show set to music.
* **Sho-Sanjakudama**: One of Japan’s largest fireworks shells, creating a bloom up to 650 meters wide.
* **100 Consecutive Fireworks Finale**: A powerful grand finale lighting up the entire night sky.

**Bad Weather Policy**
The Nagaoka Fireworks Association reserves the right to cancel the event due to severe weather.
If cancellation is announced before departure, the tour may be cancelled or postponed. If no official cancellation is announced before departure, the tour will proceed as scheduled.
If the activity or itinerary is canceled or postponed due to the supplier’s reasons, guests are entitled to a full refund.

① Seating Mat
We recommend bringing your own cushion for added comfort.
Chairs are not allowed. Please also make sure to stay within your designated seating area.
② Rain Poncho & Waterproof Shoes
Please prepare a rain poncho in case of sudden rain. A compact, full-body poncho is ideal for watching fireworks.
As the ground may become muddy, waterproof shoes or boots are recommended.
③ Sun & Temperature Protection
Please bring a hat, sunscreen, and drinks for sun protection and hydration.
Since it is summer, please also bring insect repellent to prevent mosquito bites.
At night, temperatures may drop to around 20°C (68°F), so we recommend bringing a light jacket or cardigan.
④ Flashlight
Visibility may be limited after sunset, so bringing a light source is helpful.
Some portable toilets may not have lighting.
⑤ Tissues & Wet Wipes
Some portable toilets may not provide toilet paper, so it is advisable to bring your own.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
