Amman is the capital governate of Jordan. It's one of the most continuous inhabited cities since 7000 B.C.
Surrounded by seven hills like Rome. This morning, you visit the Roman citadel, Hercules temple, Umayyad palace and over-look the Downtown of Amman. After descend in a short drive to the Roman Theatre, enjoy the traditional clothes museum and Bedouins tools. Before you leave Amman, walk to the souks and streets, eat the local dessert "kunafah" and see the spices shops.

As you make your way to Madaba from Amman, enjoy the vistas of Jordan's desert landscapes. View points of interest and specific information while traveling. Find the ancient mosaic town of Madaba, which has a history reaching back to the second century, when you arrive there. Visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George to see the mosaic map of Jordan and the Holy Land from the sixth century. The map is highlighted with locations associated with historical events recounted in the bible.

After that, short drive to Mount Nebo, a holy mountain in Jordan that is 817 meters above sea level. Being a significant place of pilgrimage for Jews and Christians, Mount Nebo is drenched in religious importance. Prophet Moses is claimed to have passed away there, and it is from its summit that he first saw the Promised Land. Visit the basilica that Egyptian monks constructed in the fourth century at the top of the mountain. See a selection of beautifully preserved Byzantine mosaics depicting scenes from hunting and animals indoors. From the summit, take in a comprehensive panorama of the Holy Land and the Jordan River Valley.
Visit The Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth and home to the largest natural open-air spa, located in the Jordan Rift Valley. The Dead Sea is over 400 meters below sea level and is home to a rich mixture of salts and minerals used in industry, agriculture, and medicine. The region, once home to five Biblical cities, offers a unique charm and year-round weather.
