Day 1: Kisumu Museum, Impala Wildlife Orphanage, and Rusinga Island

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or the airport. Head to the Kisumu Museum to learn about the history and culture of the region. See depictions of the lifestyles and diverse cultures of Western Kenya, including ancient clothing styles, basket weaving, pottery, weaponry, traditional Luo homesteads, and fishing methods.

Day 2: Rusinga Island

Day 3: Ruma National Park and Kit Mikayi

Take a boat ride to Ruma National Park and have breakfast at the lodge. Check out and head to Kit Mikayi, the Crying Stone. This archaeological site features a vast granite rock tower that "weeps" periodically during the year. The site is considered holy, and the water gushing down from the top is believed to have healing powers by the local community. Have lunch before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
