5-Day Special Safari in Kenya
Day 1: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Meet and Greet: Your safari begins with a warm welcome from your safari driver. After a short trip briefing, you’re ready to explore!
Scenic Drive: Depart at 6:00 AM, driving through lush coconut and Bixa farms. Join the main Mombasa-Nairobi road and proceed via Voi town to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
Mid-Morning Game Drive: As you enter the sanctuary, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife. Taita Hills hosts four of the big five and is adjacent to Tsavo West National Park.
Lunch with a View: Enjoy lunch at SaltLick Lodge, where you’ll have excellent views and photographic opportunities. Don’t miss the underground tunnel and bunker, which provide close yet safe access to animals frequenting the water hole.
Afternoon Game Drive: Explore more of the sanctuary’s rich wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Early Morning Game Viewing: Rise early for a game drive before breakfast. Look out for elephants, hyenas, warthogs, giraffes, and more.
Observation Hill: After breakfast, head to Amboseli National Park. The observation hill offers panoramic views of the park, including marshy swamps and abundant wildlife. Mount Kilimanjaro stands tall in the background.
Dinner and Overnight: Return to your lodge or luxury camp for a relaxing evening.
Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
Morning Game Drive: Another early start to explore Amboseli’s ecosystem. Keep an eye out for diverse wildlife and enjoy one last view of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Drive to Tsavo West: Leave Amboseli and journey to Tsavo West National Park. Check in at your lodge or luxury tented camp.
Rhino Sanctuary and Sunset: After lunch, visit the Rhino Sanctuary. Spot leopards during your game drive and savor the colorful sunset. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park
Early Bird Game Drive: Rise with the sun to witness the unfolding animal world. Lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and more await.
Mzima Springs: After breakfast, check out and head to Mzima Springs. Observe hippos, crocodiles, fish, and a variety of bird species.
Tsavo East Bound: Continue your game viewing as you drive to Tsavo East via Manyani gate. Arrive at your chosen lodge for lunch.
Man Eaters of Tsavo: In the afternoon, search for the legendary “man eaters” and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Tsavo East to Diani Beach
Sunrise Game Drive: Rise before the sun to explore Tsavo East’s plains. The park’s short vegetation makes wildlife viewing a joy.
Breakfast and Departure: Return to the lodge for breakfast. Afterward, check out and enjoy one last game drive as you exit the park.
Onward to Diani Beach: Drive out of the park and continue to the beautiful Diani Beach. Arrive in the afternoon and unwind.
