Description
Discover Kenya’s wild beauty in 3 days — from Tsavo East’s red elephants to Amboseli’s Kilimanjaro views, with thrilling game drives and authentic safari stays.
Embark on a 3-day safari adventure across two of Africa’s most legendary landscapes — Tsavo East National Park and Amboseli National Park. From the dusty red savannahs where elephants roam in herds to the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, this experience combines the thrill of game drives with the serenity of African sunsets.
Begin with an early morning departure from the Kenyan coast — Mombasa, Diani, Malindi, or Watamu — as you leave the blue waters of the Indian Ocean behind and head inland toward the rugged wilderness of Tsavo East. Known as one of the oldest and largest national parks in Kenya, Tsavo East is famous for its “red elephants”, dusted with the park’s copper-red soil.
Have the chance to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and countless bird species during game drives. After a rewarding day in the wild, unwind at a hand-picked safari lodge or tented camp, where dinner is served under the star-filled African sky.
On the second day, journey across dramatic landscapes toward Amboseli National Park. Unlike Tsavo’s vast plains, Amboseli is renowned for its open grasslands and swamps fed by underground rivers from Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is home to one of the largest populations of free-ranging elephants in Africa, offering unforgettable close-up encounters with these gentle giants.
See herds of elephants silhouetted against the towering peak of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. After a full afternoon game drive, return to your lodge or camp for a peaceful evening surrounded by nature’s sounds.
Your final day begins with a sunrise game drive in Amboseli, when predators are most active and the morning light paints the plains in golden hues. With luck, spot lions on the hunt, cheetahs resting in the tall grass, or hippos basking in the marshlands. After breakfast, start your return journey toward the coast, with a relaxed drive and a stop for lunch along the way. By evening, arrive back at your hotel, carrying unforgettable memories and photographs of Africa’s wild beauty.
