Day 1: Nairobi National Park, David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and Giraffe Center

Begin your adventure with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or residence in a 4x4 Land Cruiser. Head to Nairobi National Park for an early morning game drive. Spot lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and more with the Nairobi skyline in the background.

Next, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust during the public viewing hour to see rescued baby elephants being fed and playing in the mud. Then, enjoy a delicious coastal-inspired lunch at Tamarind Brasserie.

After lunch, visit the Giraffe Center to feed and interact with the endangered Rothschild giraffes from the elevated platform. Depart Nairobi mid-afternoon and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley towards Maji Moto, located near the Maasai Mara region.

Arrive at Maji Moto Cultural Camp in the evening. Enjoy a traditional Maasai welcome, campfire storytelling, a cultural dinner, and an overnight stay in traditional Manyatta-style accommodation.

Day 2: Maji Moto Cultural Experience

Wake up to stunning views of the Loita Hills. Enjoy a guided nature walk with Maasai warriors and visit a traditional Maasai village. Learn about Maasai customs, traditions, and daily life, and watch a beadwork demonstration.

Optionally, visit a hot spring (Maji Moto means “hot water”) and enjoy traditional dance and song. Savor authentic local meals prepared at camp. All cultural village contributions are included. Stay overnight at Maji Moto Cultural Camp.

Day 3: Return to Nairobi

Enjoy an early breakfast at camp. Optionally, take a sunrise hill walk. Depart Maji Moto mid-morning and enjoy a scenic drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi early afternoon and get dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
