Hell's Gate is known primarily for its landscape, there is still game to be spotted within the park. Antelopes are especially common sights, and the park is also home to a variety of birds.
Day 1: Nairobi City - Amboseli National Park
After pickup from the hotel and Airport and a briefing, you will be driven south through the country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where Amboseli is situated. After having lunch reroute with the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro for your game drive. Accommodation: Aa Lodge Amboseli
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Early morning wake up with your breakfast ready. Today you will have your packed lunch for ready full-day game drive. Proceed with more game drives in the park with a packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, and Giraffe. Chase the perfect sight of a massive gathering of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. Accommodation: AA Lodge Amboseli
Day 3: Amboseli National Park – Lake Naivasha National Park
After breakfast, head north, passing through Naivasha town, and drive around the southern end of the lake, past the flower farms to the entrance of Hell’s Gate National Park. Soon after you enter the park the impressive landscape unfolds before you a semi-arid world with sheer rugged cliffs, open plains, and deep concealed gorges.
An afternoon boat ride at extra cost among colonies of hippos will be an ideal view over Lake Naivasha. There are many activities you can do in Hell’s Gate including, walking, cycling, rock climbing, bird watching, and trekking through the gorge amongst the geysers, the choice is yours. Day 4: Green Crater Lake Game Sanctuary
You'll be picked up from your hotel to Crater Lake Game Sanctuary. It is located between the beautiful Lake Naivasha and the twin Longonot and Suswa Volcanoes. Surrounding a beautiful volcanic crater lake fringed with acacias, this small sanctuary has many trails, including one for hikers along the steep but diminutive crater rim. The jade-green crater lake is held in high regard by the local Maasai, who believe its alkaline waters help soothe ailing cattle. Accommodation: Naivasha Kongoni Lodge.
Day 5: Naivasha town - Nairobi city
You'll have early morning breakfast then drive back to Nairobi for your transfer to the airport for your next departure.
