Experience the adventure of swimming and snorkeling with the whale shark - the biggest fish in the world! This exciting adventure leaves from Cancun daily during the whale shark season (from May to September) and is limited to 10 people per boat, ensuring an intimate experience. It is guided by naturalists or marine biologists.

During the tour, you will travel to the seas surrounding Contoy Island and Holbox, where you will have the opportunity to observe and snorkel with whale sharks. Look out for dolphins, mantas, sea turtles, birds, and many other species that play around the Yucatan coast.

7 AM - Pick-up at your hotel in Cancun (06:00 in Playa del Carmen, 05:00 in Tulum).

7:30 AM - Informative briefing at Puerto Juarez (Marina La Amada). Our certified guides will provide you with all the fascinating information needed to become an expert in whale sharks and the area's ecosystems.

8 AM - Depart from Marina La Amada towards the whale shark reserve in the waters surrounding Isla Contoy. Once located, you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to snorkel with the biggest fish in the world.

12:30 PM - Lunch on the boat just off the coast of Isla Mujeres. Afterwards, cool off with a swim in the clear turquoise waters.

1:30 PM - Arrival at the marina's pier and transfer back to your hotel.

2 PM - Arrival at your hotel in Cancun (15:00 in Playa del Carmen, 14:00 in Tulum).

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
