Protected natural reserve: Whale Shark Aqua Safari

We explore part of the 600,000 hectares of the whale shark protected natural area by speedboat in search of them, to observe them and swim face-to-face with them. Yes! You read that right. We swim with them!
Our meeting point is in the mainland area of Isla Mujeres, north of Cancun, where we have a light breakfast before boarding in search of that giant of the sea.
Our boats have limited capacity, and we take care of the safety of everyone on board, so we provide you with life jackets as we go out to sea looking for the shark within the protected natural area.
On the tour, we may come across dolphins, turtles, manta rays, remoras, or any other fish from continental waters. Luck and the weather always give us pleasant surprises. It takes us an average of 1 hour to find the first whale sharks, and during the trip we explain the details of the activity, so that it is safe for us and for them.
We carry out this activity in the most responsible way and in accordance with the rules of the marine park, so only 2 people can go down to swim with the shark, accompanied by 1 guide.
Luck and Mother Nature determine the number of sharks to swim with or whether they are accompanied by other animals such as manta rays and remoras. It's part of the adventure and the thrill of exploring those corners of the sea.
After this extraordinary and unique experience, our captain takes us all to Isla Mujeres, Playa Norte, to enjoy a fish ceviche with totopos and drinks as a snack and to regain energy after swimming.
After eating and drinking and enjoying the sea and one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico, we return to the wharf where we set sail in the morning to return to our accommodations.
The meeting point is at Playa Flamingos or Punta Sam. Once you have booked, we will confirm the meeting location and time, which is usually 7:30 AM.
And if you don't have a way to get there, don't worry. You can add round-trip transportation from your hotel at the end of the reservation, and we'll pick you up in our own transportation. Pickup areas include Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, the Cancún Hotel Zone (and downtown), and Costa Mujeres.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
